Synopsis

Who needs friends when you’ve got fashion?

Janine, a mid-twenties waitress in London, fantasizes of being a model like Taylor -- her idol and a world-famous model. Janine finally decides to quit her job and follow her dreams.

At first, Janine is terrible at auditions but then an agent sees her potential and becomes a mentor. Janine learns how to impress on shoots and quickly moves up the modelling ladder. This brings competition with Taylor as they are both signed to the same agency.

Janine’s rise to fame and new attitude distances herself from friends and family. And her biggest insecurity is always on the verge of popping up – an eating disorder that would ruin her.
